Sad times for Japan.

Japan suffers tsunami and earth tremors on 11/03/11 Followed by a nuclear disaster 12/03/11

Japan is a place I am fascinated with, their culture both ancient and modern.
I have not yet been lucky enough to visit Japan and currently I am hoping so much that still be able to within my lifetime.

After seeing the news of the tsunami my heart went out to all those affected, I have made some great contacts based in Japan through magic work and music. Even appearing in a Japanese fashion magazine. They are a wonderful culture of people, warm, generous, caring and friendly.

The size of the wave hitting Japan was huge but still it didn’t completely register with me as it seemed relatively localised.

It wasn’t until I saw the news this morning with news of the nuclear plant at Fukushima exploding under pressure that I really began to wonder whether this means the end of the land of the rising sun.
Are we about to face another Chernobyl or worse?

The cause of all of this is mother nature, again we are at her mercy. The direction of the wind governing the lives of those affected by radioactive clouds.

I’ve written this brief article to not only contribute to raising awareness to those who for whatever reason have not followed the news but to implore you to not only spend time praying for the people, but to actually do something more constructive than thought alone.

DONATE, DONATE, DONATE.
